The domain of our activity is long-term business activities in Vietnam. We have been operating in the states of Indochina for more than twenty years, where we have established very close business and personal relationships. We consider it essential to work with partners in the Republic of Vietnam, which is now undergoing extensive development in all areas of the economy. Especially in building the petrochemical industry, energy, mining and building all the infrastructure to improve the quality of life of its citizens. With this development, the state is investing in modern technologies and building modern hospitals and the medical industry and security.
Therefore, we decided to use for our company the possibility of exclusive representation of manufacturers of medical devices, technologies and drugs for markets in Europe. We want to gradually sell these products on all world markets.
EU-VIETNAM AGREEMENT (EVFTA)
Vietnam is the EU’s second largest trading partner in Southeast Asia. The value of mutual trade between the two countries last year was 56 billion US dollars (1.3 trillion crowns).
The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) was approved by the European Parliament on 12 February 2020. Member States gave the green light to it on 30 March 2020.
The aim is to eliminate 99% of tariffs within seven years. This should increase Vietnamese exports to the EU by € 15 billion a year by 2035, while EU exports to Vietnam would increase by € 8.3 billion year on year. Each billion euros brings around 14,000 new, well-paid jobs in the EU. The agreement also fully corresponds to our ambition to be a global player as the EU.
